Governmental Affairs Committee
Purpose:
To work with the NATA Government Affairs committee in assisting states within District 10 in legislative and/or government-related matters by providing support and assistance as needed. The legislative committee chair shall keep the NWATA Board of Directors updated on legislative matters occurring within its member states. To act as a conduit between the National GAC and the NWATA

Dana Gunter, MS, ATC, AT/L is currently the Government Affairs Chairperson for the Washington State Athletic Trainer's Association. In Washington, she was active with her state's interactions with the Brain Injury Association of WA and their efforts to get the Lystedt Law on the books this legislative session.She is excited to begin this new position with the NWATA, and we are excited to have her knowledge and experience!
